  We are a welcoming church of ordinary people that are made extraordinary by our love of God, each other, and our community. I'm a newcomer compared to some, who have been here for several decades. None the less, in Newton Fellowship, my wife and I have found a place to call home, to worship and serve God, to share our love of Jesus, to be mutually encouraged and to learn the Bliblical truths of God's word.
  
  We are a multicultural group of people that love Canada but represent over 30 different countries from around the world. You'll find Bible studies, life groups spread throughout the area that meet at various times and days of the week, an active youth program, Sunday school, missionary outreach and support programs, monthly potlucks after the Sunday service, and so much more.
  
  We recently had a "Love God, Love Newton" scavenger hunt where several dozen of us poured into the streets, bus stops, fire and police departments and businesses for an afternoon of spreading random acts of kindness such as handing out coffee and doughnuts, cleaning up trash, helping folks cross the street and with their groceries, singing fun songs and nursery rhymes, and giving away balloon animals. We then met back at the church to share our stories and enjoy a meal together.
  
  We are a God loving people that remember and will never forget the hopelessness of living our life apart from God. We know that every single cell and molecule of our bodies were made to worship God, in Christ Jesus, as our supreme treasure. As such, our hearts cry out to the lost with the good news that "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” -‭John 3:16‬
  
  To end this review, I'd say, in my short time of fellowship with my brothers and sisters in Christ, here at Newton Fellowship, the following scripture describes us well.
  
  “Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.”
  ‭Colossians 3:12-15‬
